FEEL MORE MOBILE OR FLEXIBLE:
Resistance exercise performed correctly can truly make your joints feel looser, and your muscles more supple. There is no need to stretch if you perform strength exercise correctly.
A few key ideas can help:
1. Training through your FULL ACTIVE RANGE OF MOTION, with control.
2. Focus on moving through an exercise with a tolerable load over a fatigable load (at first).
3. Exaggerating the extreme ranges under control.
4. Reciprocal Inhibition: Contracting the opposing muscle of a tight muscle, or in other words training both sides of a joint.
5. Autogenic Inhibition: Allowing a muscle to fully shorten under load will help it relax itself.
